Convenient location close to Busselton town and comfortable stay Positive: Great location, we liked the self service aspect and was a comfortable stay. It was great we could put our car in the garage overnight Negative: Not a huge selection for breakfast but great kitchen to cook your own.

Not good ☹️ Positive: Kitchen facilities were ok and there was a washing machine/dryer to use Negative: I messaged the property as we had arrived early and wanted to know if we could leave our bags or check in early but didn’t receive a reply. The property is scruffy, tired looking and expensive. We had booked the 3 bedroom ‘executive’ suite. The furniture was shabby, 1 bed was broken. The blinds were broken and dirty. Curtains hanging down. The windows and carpets were dirty. Bedding was thin and worn. Outside areas are scruffy. Breakfast consisted of lots of bread in the fridge, some stale cereals, orange juice 2 weeks out of date. There was no hot water and there were notices about not showering between 10pm and 5am as the water was heated by solar power. We tried the hot water in the evening and morning and it was cold.

Great price but poor communication. Positive: The special deal we found online was excellent. The location was great even if on a main road. Having 2 living areas made it easy to hang out without disturbing others. The kitchen equipment was all good, and it was nice to have a range of tea options. Negative: Very poor communication. I emailed some questions before we arrived - no answer. When we arrived and I saw that there were no electric blankets (their 'room amenities' online say they have electric blankets) I emailed and I phoned. Twice I spoke to someone, but no-one followed up and no blankets were provided. The breakfast was poor, which was disappointing having read previous reviews - only continental and even that is stretching it. They would benefit from labelling fridge shelves so you know what food is provided by the owner, and what is owned by other guests. A bin for recycling would also be appreciated.

Bad Positive: - Negative: We were not at all impressed with the accommodation. The rooms are completely run-down, with cracks in the walls. As two people, we were given a room with three beds and stayed there for one night. The beds were definitely not freshly made — none of them. The accommodation certainly does not meet any European standard.
